The following is a message from Joshua Hernandez regarding the upcoming missionary projects.

Special Needs and update:

We were asked to help two different missionaries that work with native Indians in the Sierra. One is located in the Sierra of Chihuahua and the other in the Sierra of Zacatecas. The natives in Chihuahua lost their animals and crops; the ones in Zacatecas got kicked out of their town by their own friends and relatives because they became Christians! The only thing the government did was give them some land in another part of the sierra, so they could form a village. (So they are starting from scratch!) In both parts, the only food they eat is Kelite (it’s kale in English/a wild green) and it’s eaten everyday twice a day, along with possibly 6 to 8 corn tortillas a week!! When I heard this it touched my heart and brought back memories from when I was a kid and for a time there wasn’t enough food to eat well; stories that my father and my parents’ friends used to tell, about when they were growing up and they would even steal food from someone else’s garden in order to eat. Very difficult times. But God through His wonderful grace and mercy started to touch people’s hearts and the food supplies began to come in! If you take a look around you, whether in the U.S./Canada/Mexico, you will see that we are extremely blessed and we get to eat 3 meals a day, go to sleep in a nice warm bead, drive a car, have an ice cream, got out to movies, order take out, take a nice warm shower, etc, etc! Although our children at the Ranch may only enjoy these privileges when a group from the U.S./Canada blesses them with the opportunity, they also realize how blessed they are and pray for supplies for the native Indian peoples. So we hope God touches your heart as you read this, and puts a desire in you to help those who are less fortunate.

What we are asking is for you’re continuous prayers and support for the following:

1. For Misión San Angel in Ensenada( Berna and Coty Biurquez): We need regular monthly supplies of food and toiletries. As well as a truck (needs to be 4x4) and we would like to eventually support them with $200dlls a week.

2. For Centro de Reabilitación Agua Viva (rehab center for women and children’s home) in El Pipila in the county of Ensenada (Marcos and Rebeca Cruz): We need monthly supplies of food, toiletries, clothes, shoes, etc.

3. For the Mission School La Cueva de Adulam (Roberto y Rebeka Molina): We need school supplies, they’re in need of a 15 passenger van at this time, and we would like to eventually support them with $250 dlls a week.

4. For Misión Rarámuri in the Sierra of Chihuahua(Carina Guerrero): We need blankets, jackets, shoes, and food. We need money to help buy farm animals and seed for them to plant. They’re in need of a pickup truck (needs to be a 4x4) and we also want to eventually support the missionary with $200dlls a week.

5. For Misión Huicholes in the Sierra of Zacatecas(Adolfo García F.): We need blankets, jackets, and food. We need money to buy farm animals and seed for them to plant. They’re in need of a pickup truck (needs to be 4 x 4) and we would like to eventually support the missionaries with $200dlls a week.

6. For Misión Oaxaca Rehab center and Church ( Salvador y Margarita): We need a monthly supply of food and toiletries. They need a pickup truck (needs to be 4x4) and we would like to eventually support them with $200dlls a week.

7. For Missión Ejido Uruapan in the county of Ensenada: We need monthly supplies of toiletries and food.

8. For Misión 89 ( Juan Rosales y Margarita): We need a monthly supplies of food and toiletries.

Ministerios Con Hechos (outreach ministry) immediate needs:

My family and I leave on a mission trip November 16th (will be gone for 11 days) and still need money donations for this trip. If God has been putting it in your heart, or if you know of someone that wants to help, please do so a.s.a.p. The most important need is for your prayers for God’s word to be spoken; His love, peace and joy to touch people’s lives; for the miracle of physical and spiritual healing. Also to pray for His protection in traveling and from illness, for His mercy and grace to be with us, the binding of all the attacks of the enemy, and that we may be a blessing to the pastors, their congregations, the mission students and those that we have contact with.

Special needs:

1. A 15 passenger van for the out-reach ministry. We would like a diesel van; you get more mileage, it’s stronger, and lasts longer.

2.A trailer to haul things.

3. Financial donations for the mission trip in January to Chihuahua to help buy the farm animals and seeds (we are trying to raise $4500dlls for that trip). Also, there is the need for food, blankets, medicine, first aid kits, jackets, clothes, etc. We have to rent a truck to transport the donations, pay the fuel/tolls/meals/etc.

4. Financial donations for the mission trip at the end of February to Zacatecas, and we need to raise $6600dlls.in order to buy farm animals and seed to plant. Also we are in need of donations of clothes, blankets, jackets, medicine, first aid kits, food, etc.

5. We need diapers (from infant to size 6 and pull ups), baby formula, powered milk, food, toys, (if used in good condition), stuff animals, soccer balls, volley balls, basketballs, bikes, baby clothes, clothes, shoes, jackets, blankets, etc.
